Real Moments from Music Therapy Sessions
Examples of connection, expression, and growth through music therapy.
ld McDonald Had A Farm 3:20
I’ve been working with a 15-year-old client with Down syndrome for over two years. This particular session was a turning point — it marked the moment his expressive abilities began to shine in a truly remarkable way
How Much Is That Doggie 2:10
I’ve been working with this amazing group of women with mixed disabilities for nearly two years. This classic song always brings strong reactions and movement. On this high-energy day, one of the ladies even got up to dance — a beautiful first.
Yann Tiersen Amélie 1:45
In this session, I took a classical piano approach, playing a piece from the Amélie soundtrack. The client’s reaction was too beautiful not to share — a moment of stillness, focus, and deep connection through the music.
